Slimmingworld ready meals - working out the points?

Can someone help me please - I am making the move from SW to WW but I have a few meals left in the freezer - SW Ready meals from Iceland - they don't appear when I search for them online (I have joined WW this morning) so how do I work out the points values? I tried the create food bit but according to this they are about 21 - 30 points each - surely this can't be correct? I have left the ragu, vegetable biryani & the chicken saag - any help is appreciated thanks.

It sounds like you have pointed it using calories, carbs, protein etc? Sounds like you have the points right sadly...never ceases to suprise me how different the two systems are. Can you do a last few days on SW and then move over to WW?

There is a free app called 'Tracking Assist'
If you download this app and put nutritional info into system it will work out points for you.

I have pointed like that yes but the nutrional values on the SW pack are per 100g microwaved and each pack is 550g so I have assumed I times everything by 5.5?? Blimey if that is right then yes I will have to finish up the SW one's and then switch - here is the info off the website:
Nutrition
Typical values Per 100g microwaved
Energy 517 kJ / 122 kcal
Fat 0.5g
(of which saturates) 0.1g)
Carbohydrate 24.9g
(of which sugars) 4.1g)
Fibre 1.5g
Protein 3.7g
Salt 0.5g

Wow. I have just calculated that and assuming 550g based on the 100g nutritional data it does come in at 21sp! Is the meal one portion or is it for 2 or could it be split over a couple of days? I have no idea how big or small it is. Half of it seems to be 9sp which seems more manageable points wise. Just don't know if that would be a tiny portion?

Hi. I have just joined WW too though I have done it before. I just did the points for the chicken saag and it comes in at 8 which is very respectable and comparable to a WW meal but bigger. The bolognese ragu is the same. You could have the saag with cauli rice and the ragu with courgetti for no extra points. The biryani would be a lot because it is very carby. I thought the SW meals were quite nice so will get some of these lower points ones.

BTW I don't know if you have noticed but on the app there is a button in the top right hand corner which you can use to scan items. The content seems to be user generated so check it matches with what you have on your label but it saves the faff of typing it all in.

550 grams is a big portion though, so maybe just have half?

I have just signed up to WW again - but when I did it before about a year ago I ate a few of the SW meals and they came out very well foe points on WW. However the ones I had were low carb e.g. The beef with swede mash. They don't work for me any longer as I am now veggie and, as you say, the rice / pasta meals are too high in points.
