my favourite is on a green day - and is syn free.

chicken kebab's marinated in natural yogurt -lemon juice - garlic - chilli powder - salt n pepper. - then grilled

with syn free chips.
frylight - fried mushrooms

stuffed peppers
any syn free flavoured rice, put a pepper in oven for 10mins and cook rice, put rice into pepper with some grated cheese on top-use healthy extra for your cheese then cook until pepper is roasted-have with a big green salad-gorgeous!

I like the sweet potato and spinach curry from the free foods recipe book on a green day.

On a red day I like fish simply microwaved and served with stir fried veg.

Or lots of roast chicken and a big salad.

And you can't beat a good jacket potato with laughing cow light, sweetcorn, pickled baby beetroots and salad.

jenk1 - I like stuffed peppers (and aubergines) too. I tend to fill them with brown rice mixed with chilli beans, and then top with cheese too.

I did the jambalaya from the big Syn free cook book last night. It was OK but next time I need to put something extra in it to give it a bit of a kick.
Onions, peppers tin of tomatoes boiled up with pint of stock and dried herbs (and I put tabasco suave but nede to put more in next time) add chopped up Quorn sausages and rice and let cook in pan with lid on.

I've made that Tommy - although I thought it was odd to have a jambalaya with herbs rather than spices, so I put paprika and chilli in mine instead. Maybe you could give it a go like that?

for the numerous picnics I have done in the school holidays I prepare (the night before, god Im organised) roast ckicken legs and hard boiled eggs. Chuck them in a picnic bag with salad and fruit/muller lights for a red day picnic.

My fav home cooked meal is lamb curry (the rogan josh recipe from the SW curry book is really nice) topped with 0% fat Greek yoghrt and lots of chopped tomatoes and onions - I dont even miss having rice with it (I prefer to use my syns on alcohol )
