Have started eating a LOT more healthily to lose some weight.....i'm doing ok, snacking on fruit etc instead of rubbish. I do find evenings hard though......i have lots of children and i am finding my energy levels are low so i need a boost come early evening, i have been having cans of diet pepsi and they do seem to give me a 'lift'.......is this an ok thing to do?..is there anything 'hidden' in pepsi that i don't know about and therefore should avoid??

What do fellow dieters snack on in the evenings nowadays??

When I did the Slimming World diet, all fizzy diet drinks were allowed, so you should be ok.
Pepsi Max is also allowed and TBH, this is nicer than Diet Pepsi as doesn't have that horrible saccharin after taste.

HTH's.

that is good news as it does take away the need for something sweet.

Thank-you!

Although sugar replacements are supposed to affect the way that the body processes normal sugar and can affect the metabolic rate or something like that... I think i fell asleep in that lecture...If you hit a plateu it might be worth knocking back the amount of diet fizzy drinks consumed but the fizzy aint that great for the digestive system.

Sorry.
