Anyone else gain 25% of their body weight post-baby?

I was 10 stone the summer before I got pregnant (2006). I'm now 12 and a half stone. That's an increase of 25%

What percentage have you gained? Anyone manage to shift it?

I'm thinking of doing Slimming World, and also just have '25%' as a mantra in my head at all times!

I weighed 10 and a half stone pre baby. When I came home from the hospital after having DS, I weighed 14 stone - I nearly died.

Im now 11 stone 4. Finding it so hard to shift those last few pounds!

I'd never thought of it like that. I was nine and a half stone and am now 11 and a half. Admittedly nine and a half was pretty darn thin for me. I've just started cutting out alcohol and carbs as I am sick of it (DS was born 21/2 years ago)

Thanks, Ive done Weight Watchers, but totally fed up with it TBH. Was thinking of doing slimming world but none of the meetings where we live are on the days that fit in with my work arrangements.

Well done to you too Lilyrose

oysterpots - keep with it - determination is the key IMO!

oh thats a shame, sometimes a change can kick start things again :0)
i looked into weight watchers as a change but didnt like that they set your target weight according to BMI charts instead of you yourself, plus same as you my slimming world classes fall on the right days where as WW didnt.
you can join on line but i dont think this has the same motivation ans support as going to a class....but thats me everyone is different.
