Started diet - What's happening to my face? Why spots????

Okay I started my diet on 1st March, I have managed to lose 5 kilos. I bought the Slimming World magazine and just followed it.

My main thing was desserts and dark chocolate (miss those Lindt chocs), anyhow I am digressing. I have been so good - not eating sweet things and cutting down on how many sugars in my tea - not eating the kids leftovers and replacing all my snacks with rice crackers, nuts and carrot sticks etc etc.

So why is my face breaking out in spots - normally I am not a spotty person, even during my period I didn't get spots and as I am currently breastfeeding 5 month old it's not hormonal as i didn't have spot problems 5 weeks ago.

Well done you for your loss so far - don't worry your spots are a good thing as it's a sign that your body is detoxing and getting rid of all it's waste, they will soon pass & you'll look great!
p.s where do you get your willpower to diet from,I'm struggling loads x

Thanks.

I always thought my will power was bad, as I had tried to do weight watchers before and it didn't work. I found the key to making this work for me was to have small goals - the original aim was to lose a pound a week the factk that I shifted 5 kilos has blown me away. I am still aiming to lose a pound a week in the next 10 weeks.

The first 2 weeks were a real struggle as I was so used to desserts after dinner which was normally chocolate puddings laced with chantilly cream.

I also found that after 12 years with my husband that I had fallen into a lot of bad habits - he's 6'1 and I am only 5'3 and I would out eat him every meal time, his idea of lunch at weekends was sausage rolls/pies etc.

So I had to make this a change I could continue and as I love to cook the meals have been easy - it's the exercise - I hate exercising - walking I am okay with but I don't do enough exercise and that is my next goal to try and walk for at least 30 mins a day.
