i have got into really bad habits with breakfast, tending to just have coffee or at most a bit of toast/bagel. I now have 0.5-1 stone to lose and know that my bad eating habits stem from a bad start to the day.

i HATE cereal - cold milk on crunchy hard stuff. yuk. I can stomach weetabix with hot milk but don't really like it, similarly porridge all makes me gag a bit.

I think i need protein at breakfast - scrambled egg on toast would be ideal but mornings are a bit too crazy here midweek.

Any great ideas or motivational tips out there?
TIA.

I hate cereal too (with milk). Have you tried cereal bars? Alepon light are nice, and about 60 cal a pop.
For protein: grilled bacon and mushrooms?

I have 2 pieces of toast with real butter on it and find that for some reason I can last on that until lunch time whereas if I have a healthy cereal I have to have a snack before lunch so I stick with my toast now.

A favourite of mine is fresh or canned fruit (in juice) with a pot of yoghurt.

yes maybe cereal bars are the answer...
i only have real butter but it isn't enough on toast, end up starving and tucking into bagels etc.. mid morning.
don't like yoghurt either - too cold & creamy in the morning.
(i sound like a toddler!)
thanks all, keep them coming
would love bacon & mushrooms, mmmm, but no time to make them.
