Please help me decide on a goal weight...

... I know I should make up my own mind really, but I just can't decide!

I'm 5'11 and weigh 13 stone 1, after losing 58 pounds so far with WW. I have said at WW that my goal weight is 12st11 - the reason being that that is the maximum I'm allowed to have as a goal weight, because then I reach a BMI of 25.

I can't decide whether to
a/ stick with 12st11 then
b/ go down to 12 st, which is the weight I was when I got married, which was seven years ago - I put on a stone and a half before getting pregnant, and then with the pregnancies I totally lost it...

am now proud to have lost so much, don't want to be stick thin, but look reasonably good.
Facts to consider:
I read somewhere that your BMI shoud be between 20 and 24, not 25.
I want to get pregnant again this year.

Am waffling now... would really like some advice, even though I know it's hard for others to advise in these things!

I'd go down to the 12stone that way you've got the 11lb to play about with i.e xmas / holidays.

I'd go for the 12st 11 to start with.

If when you reach it you feel you want to 'go further' set yourself a new goal.

I'm currently 9st 5lb, and currently aiming for under 9st. "Ultimate" aim is to get down to 8.5st which would be 1/2stone heavier than I was when I got married (5yrs ago). I'm finding it easier to get myself motivated setting smaller targets for myself than having one 'big' goal.

Could you not do it in stages, so get down to the first goal and then congratulate yourself and go on to the last 11? Well done on the weight loss so far btw .

Yes, maybe I'll go for 12st11 and give myself a break from ww for a while (making sure I don't gain mind!), before starting afresh...

I'm just a bit inclined to think that with after the next pregnancy I'll have to lose weight again, so seems a bit pointless to go too far down now. Main thing is that I don't gain such a ridiculous amount again when I do have another baby.

My WW goal weight is far less than the top of the bracket for my height IYKWIM?
The lowest I can be (BMI 20) is 57kgs ... the highest is 71kgs ...
I like to be at the lower end of the scale .... in fact when I went back 2 weeks ago (I am a lifetime member) I was well within my range at 66 but my target is 59kgs .... It is just what I am happiest at ...
I think you have done really really well emkana. Why don't you get to your original goal of 12st 11 and then do a maintenance program for a few weeks (to reward yourself for your hardwork) and then reset your goal to maybe what you were when you got married? Then when you get to that you have the 11lbs to play with like pickled onion suggested?
