What are YOUR fail-safe tips to drop some weight?

Inspired by PussinJimmyChoos' thread, just wondering how you drop some pounds?

Mine are:

run 3 times a week
cut carbs at evening meal
drink more water
drink lots of cups of tea

plan healthy meals & snacks ahead for the day
keep busy
weigh self weekly, record in diary
lots of walking

Chew a lot of gum
Once I have had evening meal that is it apart from the odd glass of water - wow how excting

make big vat of soup (vegetable or some kind) and have a lot of that when you feel peckish
fill the house with fruit
have unhappy love affair
have happy love affair

Some days I may have porridge for breakfast and lunch, it really fills me up

pre-children, 20 Malboro Lights a day did the trick
