Do you have an exercise machine that is a great dust collector?

Im sure this has been done here on MN befor,

but I have a really expensive, impressive, working, cross trainner that takes up a whole lot of room and is basically used as a dust collector.

My Plan

To actually use it, I would love to get on it everyday for approx. 20min.

I think if I have someplace to record what I have done it could hopefully get me on it.

I need to loose some serious weight about 10-12kg and I look like Im pregnant, the fat just stays in my guts. (not happy)

I will be 30 next year and I really want to leave this extra fat behind with my 20's

I just went on for 20 min. Every time I go on I feel good, It's just sooo hard getting started and finding time.

So I just thought if anyone else has a exercise machine that they really want to use, but needs just a bit of motivation.
I thought this could work.

I dont get on MN all the time so if we just use this space as a record of our efforts and our losses, I think that would be great.

What do you think?

YAY
sounds great lilysmummy well done.
I was hoping someone would jump on board with me.

You have given me the motivation to hop on my X trainner today, just as soon as my little one is asleep.

And go you girl, and your thigh trainer.

Must get rid of the blubber, MUST get rid of the Blubber. Ha ha ha

Ok she is asleep, sooo here I go.

That is soooo funny, I do like the the sound of Blubber Club lol. Although all very good names.
It's so exciting to have this little club, go us.

Well I have only missed 1 day since last message, my excuse was I had done alot of walking that day.
Each time I have been on my X trainner for 20-25mins. Approx. 4km
Some days are really hard to get motivated, so I now make my first step to get on and even do just 5-10 mins. By the time I get there I am ready to go longer.
Although this thread is really motivating for me.
I promise I will try soooo hard not to fall of the wagon.

After first day I was achy all over, I kept wondering what was wrong with me, it was only when I got on the next day that I realised it was a good achy.

You bring up a very good point about diet. I didn't have any plans to change my diet, was just happy to start with exercise.
But you have definetely got me thinking, no point pushing myself to exercise if I am eating like a crazy woman. How about you Lillysmummy, whats your plan with the food thing? Sounds like you are doing really well.

Let us continue to BURN THAT BLUBBER!

I have been very naughty with the food thing, we have had a few birthdays in our house in the last couple of weeks, feeling really guilty so I am about to go on x trainner.
Had been feelin really good with my efforts so far, so back on the machine.
