Record your daily Fitbit steps here. We can encourage each other to be more active and advise each other about exercise.

Let's see what we can achieve!

I’ve been making an effort to get more active, and I’ve managed to do over 10000 every day for the last two weeks which I haven’t found easy. Didn’t realise I was so inactive! Although today, I’m seriously hungover and having a chilled movie day so I’ve only done 917 Blush back on it tomorrow!

noloh1 Hooe you had a good night Grin. I have been feeling listless since Wednesday and haven't been on the treadmill yet. I haven't been out today and have done 2,216 steps. How I have no idea. I wonder how accurate they are?

I aim to use treadmill for 30 minutes today.

I love my fit bit.
I walk a lot. Live in a town where I walk to shops, GP, vet etc and rarely drive.
I have changed my goal to 12,500 steps but get more like 15,000 to 20,000 plus.
Today I am on 25,000 steps but did a big dog walk to pub which accounts for most of those steps.
I totally changed my way of thinking-look for little ways to get more steps-never take the lift-walk up the stairs etc
There are also fitbit groups-I joined a mumsnet one a few years ago and you can do challenges etc which are really fun

mumsiedarling that's amazing!

Di you think the step counter is accurate?

I agree it does encourage us to do more

@FlatScreenTV01I actually don't think the cross trainer gives as many steps for walking outside for the same distance.

When my DH and I go for a long walk he gets more steps than me for the same distance-we think I have a longer stride or he has a tiny hobbit walk so it is imperfect but does give a rough idea so you can try and get yours up comparing it to your own score if that makes sense?

I do a long dog walk every day and then often cross trainer-can't run anymore as knees are knackered but pre-pandemic I would walk into town most days for bits from waitrose etc and then often another dog walk in the evening.
