Also want too loose weight but starting this week!

Similar to the loose one and a half stone tread but starting a week late! Anyone else want to join through being inspired by the other lot. DS now eight months old but I am still size I was six weeks after giving birth ie still far too big! No time to really hit the gym as dh living away form home to work so effectively single mum. Christmas good inspiration as is my ds naming ceremony and first birthday, Jan 8th. I have no will power and hope having someone in similar situation will help with motivation.

I am starting my losing weight effort this week too. My DS is 20mths and I still have 3kg but want to lose 5kg or in your terms I want to go from 10 Stone to 9,3 (How many lb in a stone?) It is spring here and getting quite warm and I want to buy new clothes.

Here are the resolutions I have written down this morning:

3 small meals + 3 healthy snacks
No Chocolate
No Carbs after 3pm
No Coffee
Plenty of water
Alcohol on weekends only (1-2 glasses max per sitting)
2 x Pilates classes per week
2 x brisk 5km walks (pushing pram and DS 30kg)
Less TV and more talk and activity

I think that the TV and the chocolate will be the most difficult and I hope to do more exercise.

I could do it in a month and yet I haven't done it in 20. I think when you are just a bit over your goal weight then it is quite difficult to budge without 'white knuckle' dieting, which I just can't bring myself to do. I wouldn't mind if it took me 2 months or so.

Well i've started a fresh this week! Even though i lost 1lb last week, i was very naughty this weekend, i had a chicken and mushroom pizza, cheesy garlic bread, 2 bottles of wine and a few glasses of Cider! As i had one an exercise bike auction on ebay, knew i was picking it up on Sunday! I've started 15 mins every night, and it's a bloody good work out!!

So anyway i'm Beccy, and have a 8.5 month old dd! I lost 2.5 stone by May 03 in under 6 months (weight i'ds gained on the depo injection) by following the slimming world eating plan, and walking a fair distance to the train station and back and walking around town on my lunch break everyday! Now i am a SAHM, and don't have the encouragement/competition i had from work colleagues! We've moved and i live in the middle of nowhere, it's all fields and i cannot push my pram around the fields..pmsl! However i fell pregnant with dd unexpectadely and now have all that weight and more!

I want to be a sexy curvaceous size 12 me again, instead of this jely bellied fatsy size 16 i now appear to be!

I've lost 5lbs, wooo hoooooooo!

So down to 13 stones now! The 15 mins a night on the exercise bike is really helping too, it kills me but the weight seems to be lowering!!!! pmsl

Hows everyone else doing???
