I would like to lose a few vanity pounds. I’m at the top end of my healthy bmi, so losing a few pounds would be good for my health too.
I’m very active but I make poor food choices when I have snacks. I eat healthy meals and fruit, but it’s the extras that are stopping me from losing weight. I’ve tried MFP, but when I have some calories to eat, I’ll always choose 50 calories worth of biscuit over 50 calories of veg sticks.
I can’t stand the thought of a too restrictive diet.
So my thought is this. What if I stop calorie counting and just give up refined sugar? Eat when I’m hungry, but no sugary shite. I’m not cutting out fruit - it’s healthy. I will eat a packet of crisps as it’s not sugary. Has anyone tried this and lost weight just by doing this alone?
I’ve managed it for one day. I’m going to see if I can last through the weekend. I love sugary stuff so it’ll be hard for me. Also any ideas for alternative snacks?
