Is there other healthy shit like Quark that I should know about?

Thought quark sounded like quack or well just something very weird so never bought it until last week. Saw a recipe that used it with mushrooms and chicken to make a lovely pasta sauce. It was delicious and still tasted creamy.

Is there other health stuff out there that you'd recommend Thayer wouldn't normally be in my shopping basket?

Mayfair curry powder. B and M for a 9 portion pack, about a quid a pack and 4 slimming world syns per portion, so really low.

Fatclub quiche. Use low fat or even normal cottage cheese, yogurt pot size to 6 eggs, chuck ham or mushrooms or whatever in, bake in an oiled quiche tin and it lovely.

Pastrami and gherkin rolls are lush. Roll up a gherkin in a slice of pastrami.

How do you eat the frozen berries?

@Tunnockswafer I like them half thawed with natural yoghurt and a little bit of honey or granola, but I have been known to eat frozen blueberries like sweets

I’m obsessed with blueberries but never had them frozen. Will try it out, thanks!

If you blend frozen berries and yoghurt you get healthy ice cream Smile
OP, could you post the quark recipe? I've not tried it yet so no idea how it all works...

I'd say couscous. Takes a minute to be ready, works in place of pasta or potato (carb) and is really easy to add stuff to - cut up sausages/tomato/avocado - you get the idea. It's my simple go to for using bits from the fridge Smile

Should add that you may want a spoon of honey in for the ice cream!
