I've been dieting for three (ish) months now (reduced calorie, restricted portions, no nibbling!) and have lost 1.5 stone. Happy about that, and another 9 lbs to go. I'm really trying to do it by changing my eating habits so it is sustainable.
However, my weight loss has slowed right down to about a pound a week which is rather disheartening. I've not changed anything...I'm exercising just as much (lots of vigorous walking mostly; for other health reasons I can only do "moderate" exercise) and maintaining the healthy eating habits.
Any ideas why weight loss has slowed? Is the "plateauing" a real thing? How can I kick start it all again to lose this last bit?
