Hi Ladies, Well after looking at myself in the mirror and nearly passing out when trying to zip up my trousers, I have decided to join Slimming World, I went to WW 2 years ago and lost over 2.5 stone, but it took ages to shift as I suffer with PCOS, so tonights the night and I don't know what to expect. Anyone got any packed lunch suggestions for green/red days , thanks!!!

I just used to take salad boxes with me to work. Red days you can stick in chopped chicken, ham etc, and green days I'd put in things like cannellini beans to bulk it out. The nice thing about slimming world is that you can chuck so many different free foods in it doesn't feel like a diet salad. Capers were my big thing, I chucked them in everything.

Just for info, I found it easier to lose when I did mostly red days.

Funnily enough, I've just got my old SW book out and started again this week. DS is 3 now so I decided that it's finally it's a bit much to be calling it baby weight

Hi. I am trying the red slimming world diet. Used to be veggie so is a bit new to me but quite enjoying it. I just wondered, does anyone know if there are any recent changes to the diet? My book is really old, and I dont know if anything Im eating as free now has hundreds of sins. I know on the green that Heinz macaroni cheese is now NOT free (explains why I put ON weight - ate hundreds of them ), but has anything changed on the red?

As far as I am aware nothing has changed on the red days. I went back to SW a couple of moths ago and the only change they told me about was the macaroni cheese. Good luck! I am going to re try the atkins diet!!

Thanks everyone. Allthegirls, I did the Atkins diet for a while. It really does work - I lost 1.5st and kept it off but I found it really hard to keep up. Stopped when I found I was actually starving myself because I couldnt look at yet another bacon rasher without vomiting!!! But great for kickstarting a diet. Twiglett, I think that's what is great about SW. You can have whatever you fancy as long as you stick to either the green or red day. Since I started eating meat again tho, find I really enjoy the red days! Yorkiegirl, it is imposs for me to join again at the moment. Apart from the fact that dh wld shriek if I payed yet another joining fee to no avail, I have 4 dd's all demanding constant attention! Maybe soon. You're doing really well tho - congrats! What's really hindering me is lack of exercise! Not any time for myself and cant motivate myself to do those home videos!! Any tips?
