Hello and Meal ideas(6 Posts)
I lost over a stone and a half of baby weight in 2016 through eating well and exercising regularly. I cant exercise quite as regularly now so and have been lax so the weight is slowly creeping on - I would like to lose a stone - I'm 5ft 4 and just over 11st at the mo, 10st is my goal. My lowest weight to date was 10st 6lb, so i know i can get there at least!
I'm after some inspiration for meals. I am using MFP and lowering my carb intake as thats what works for me. I'm trying not to increase fat too much.
for example today my meals are;
porridge with banana and honey
Soup, apple and greek yoghurt
bolognese boats (which is basically hollowed out courgette with bolognese sauce and cheese on top) with salad.
I am pretty good with meals but find myself making the same thing a lot.
Vegetable curry, chicken and vegetables, Steak with sweet potatoes and veg, Stew/bourginion/casserole with extra veg.
I find breakfast the hardest. What do you eat other than porridge?
Bolognese boats sound lovely!
I am having a low carb wrap for tea - replace the normal tortilla with a really thin omelette, and then fill with chicken & salad or whatever.
I often have eggs for breakfast too, or Greek yoghurt and berries.

Ive had apple and cinnamon porridge for breakfast and got boiled egg and smoked salmon salad for lunch - might need to get something to go with it to fill me up a bit.
Dinner is fajitas, having one wrap and loads of salad with it. and 0% greek yog instead of sour cream.
