Help! I need to lose 7lbs in 4 weeks.

As the thread title says.
I'm being a bridesmaid in 4 weeks, we tried the dresses on yesterday and I'm the chubby one.

The problem is that I've been ill these past few months, sometimes I haven't been able to eat and when I have I've eaten what I liked. It just hasn't been the time for a diet.

However, with 4 weeks to go I need to lose about half a stone. The dress fits fine, I've just got chubby arms and I'm concerned about my tummy and back fat even though the bridal party insist I don't have any. I'm the eldest bridesmaid by some years decades and what with being ill too I guess I'm feeling low and self conscious.

Under Drs orders whatever diet I do can't be drastic. So no 5:2. Any exercise has to be gentle. So no running even though I love it.

Is there a healthy eating diet that will help me to shift some pounds?
Can anyone recommend yoga or similar that will help to tone me up in 4 weeks?

A good way is to give up tea and or coffee (if you OD on them). Drink unsweetened green and mint teas to help with the caffeine detox feelings. Also plenty of water.

I do some yoga and a chinese DIY acupuncture exercises which really tone my muscles. Oh and a brilliant flat tummy one that is sooo easy! I'll tell you if you want!

You try paleo maybe not going the whole hog, but no refined sugars, no bread or pasta and lots of veg would help a bit.

Paleo is good if you crave meat! But if not healthy grains, plenty of veg. (no wheat) works wonders!

Ok - no sugar or wheat inc bread & pasta.

Try yoga.

Thank you.
I'll give it a go and see what happens!

Drink as much water as you can bear. 2l a day if possible.

Can you do any arm exercises? Find a video on YouTube use tins of beans if no weights, to tone them up a bit?

Yes, quit sugar - it's amazing how much weight that makes you hold onto. Don't worry about healthy fats (nuts, hummus etc) as your body needs them and they'll fill you up, ultimately making you eat less. And maybe also try swimming?
