I posted this in exercise but didn't get any replies!
I used to love running but was never great at it - used to get shin pain etc but I loved just putting music on and taking off!
I've barely done any exercise since getting pregnant with DS over 3 years ago I'd love to get back running, properly this time, and have downloaded the app but I'm now 3-4 stone heavier than I was last time I did this and am prone to planar fasciitis and shin issues.
I have proper running trainers which helped but not enough. Is this going to be too hard to do? Should I try to lose weight before starting? (I was hoping it would help during!)
I'm going to try and persuade DH to do it with me but wanted opinions first on whether it's worth persisting with if you're of the hideously fat and unfit variety...

If you started C25k when overweight and unfit, how bad/hard was it?
