Meal Replacement shakes. Suggestions please.

I am currently on a low carb diet and have, in the past, used meal replacement shakes for breakfast when in a rush. I loved the Tony Ferguson range but they stopped selling in the UK.

Any suggestions please, as I don't want to start trying out loads. Emphasis on decent tasting ones please.

Thank you

Anyone? Got a sample of "Shake that weight" and it's yummy. Have an offer of Exante shakes but oncerned about the tastes. Plan to have 2 shakes and one low carb meal.

I find the shakes too sweet when I'm low carbing as they awaken my carb monster!

I've done shakes with full fat yoghurt, almond milk, few raspberries or berries, and they were quite nice. There's a peanut butter 'powder' you can buy which I know some on the BSD thread have used but I'm not a fan of peanuts.

I find a shake for breakfast, soup for lunch strategy quite effective too, as soup feels more lunchy than milkshake.

I have slim fast chunky choc shake (ready made) - it's lovely and thick and so nice when cold.

I use the exante ones - the taste is good and true to flavour, though quite sweet.

Thank you all. I have tried a few in the last few days and found the New You Diet plan meals and shakes amazing. Much better than the Exante samples I tried. And I got some Superdrug shakes as well to ease the cash burden. All within the calorie and carb range. And when I want something else, I can have some vegetables and some protein and can have eggs too. Trying out a strict week this week with only she shakes, bars and meals and plenty of water. And some exercise too. Will keep you posted xx

Website called the protein works: diet meal replacement shakes taste awesome and less than 2g sugar per portion :) also high protein and you don't feel hungry on them. Not too sweet either :)

I read the ingredients in these and can't believe the rubbish they put in them. Why not make your own with ground almonds for creaminess and linseeds for health. I make enough for 2 days with seasonal fruits I use a hand held blender, I only have them for breakfast. Then eat a nice salad with rye bread for lunch. Then soup for supper\dinner.

I lost nearly 3 stone doing the above and am maintaining the loss after 4 years! I'm not as strict all the time of course but i'm very healthy!
