I'm 2 weeks into dry January, and training for a half marathon. My diet has always been pretty healthy (although portion sizes could be reduced) so I've not made any massive changes there except for cutting out alcohol (big drinker) and some of the poor food choices that might go with that (take-away on a Friday if didn't feel like cooking, that kind of thing) and have massively increased exercise from nothing to 2 short runs a week, 1 long run and cross training twice a week. So how is it, when i stood on the scales this morning, they laughed in my face and told me I had lost NOTHING!! NADA!! Feeling slightly disheartened! Please tell me I'll lose some eventually!!
