I have a lot of weight to lose, around the 8 stone mark. It's not just about my appearance, I am really struggling with day to day activities. It's embarrassing and humiliating. So, along with weight loss, this year I would like to be able to:
Walk up a flight of stairs without hugging and puffing.
Walk up a steep hill without gasping for air.
To stop sweating when I have to walk somewhere.
To be able to lean forward more easily, without my big tummy getting in the way.
To be able to tie up shoelaces much more easily.
To not panic when someone sits next to me on the bus or train in case I'm spilling onto their side.
To be able to cross my legs when sat down.
I think these are the things that will motivate me most in 2017.
