Hi. Juicer and book were delivered on Friday. I'm going to start the three day detox tomorrow. I've never tried a detox or a juicing diet before so slightly anxious about whether I can stick it out. Have read that others have felt full whilst on the detox and have lots of energy so I am optimistic. How are you getting on?

I have read 2 of his books

I'm juicing on and off and planning to do the 5 day juice detox over half term (5 days off work)

I love the juices... Lost 4lbs last week doing just 1 or 2 juices and eating well

I find the health benefits amazing and do it more for health than weight loss ( I lost 5 stone last year through clean eating, some juicing and lots of exercise)

So now I juice for health and to maintain weight. I could do with shifting more weight really, but in no hurry

I did it for a week about two years ago, I lost 9lbs...the downside was that I was ready to chew my own face off!!!! I don't believe how much I missed chewing

I have done it on and off for a few days at a time and always feel good on it

I will be honest though and say that a lot of his drinks I just couldn't stomache, I just changed them to juices I did enjoy

Good luck

I found it really hard. I was sick to the back teeth of juices by day two so decided to have homemade soup and a bit of bread in the evening.

You have no idea how delicious the soup was!!!! And how satisfying it was to eat with a spoon....

I also got stomach pain after finishing the seven days so maybe all that fruit sugar wasn't good for me.

I still juice but not as much and tend to add fat e.g. blend with avocado.

Also, to avoid the faff of cleaning up the juicer, sometimes just make a berry smoothie in the blender.

I sent a fortune on the juicer, his books, supplements etc and was not really convinced by the end of it - you really don't need to do that - I think it's a waste of money UNLESS you plan to do juice fasts on a regular basis.
