do you have to choose 1? as Aerobics would be good for cardio & abs crung good for toning.

Remember you cannot spot reduce fat areas.

I'd go for Pilates. Its really good for overall toning and helps with any back problems. You can do abs exercises infront of the tv at home!

if you are running, then pilates would be great for toning. crunches you can do at home!

Careful with abs/crunches etc. If you have a squidgy tummy after kids then it may be the muscles haven't corrected or met back in the middle (split rectus sheath or something). I have a friend that did loads of sit ups and it got worse!!! Pilates will def help!
