I'm a SAHM and get SO bored at times, so nibble all the wrong things.

Any suggestions about how to stop this??

Not massivly overweight, but would love to lose my stone baby weight. I go running 3 times a week, cycling too, but its the nibbling thats getting me.

How funny,i was just thinking of posting myself.I am on mat leave and this belly is never going to shift unless i stop the constant snacking all day,its raining here dh is at work and ive been grazing all day, when the baby goes to slep i reward myself with coffe and a cake or biscuit.I am going to a/not but crap and b/ try to do my nails or fake tan etc when baby sleeps. Also i do the shred dvd every day that kills an eating half hr.

Stop buying it?!

Make big pot of veggie soup and have a bowl whenever peckish.

Drink more water and herbal tea.

I make a huge bowl of sugar-free Jelly every couple of days. There is only 7kcal in a whole bowl so you can snack away!!

ledkr, I don't have the excuse of a baby any more. My littlest has just turned 3.

I'm liking the sugar free jelly idea, might satisfy my sweet tooth a bit more.

many thanks everyonwe

go for a walk round the block. Or to another room in the house. Read a chapter of a book. Just keep yourself occupied. If a craving goes in 20 mins that is exactly what itis. A craving. If after 20 mins its still there it usually is sign of hunger. But obviously everyone is different.

I used to go for the 'if i don't buy it i can't have it'. But when i have a shop 100 yards from myhouse that isn't that easy.
