what about winter weddings this year !?

Is anyone else going ahead with weddings in November? my brother is due to get married this November with120 guests and im worried about him losing money from deposits etc if restrictions come back in?!
Just wondering whatvpeoples thoughs are on winter weddings going ahead ...

Personally, I think it's unlikely but I suppose it's up to your DB if he wants to risk it.

i agree i just think with all the restrictions lifted over the summer it will naturally mean restrictions in the autumn winter...

Totally agree. I think we'll be back to small gatherings, if we're lucky and mask wearing by November.

We're booked for winter, but who knows. If all the vulnerable and the majority of adults are vaccinated by July, there really should be no reason to bring in restrictions, especially with the availability of rapid testing.

I'm November, and I was thinking this but all my friends and family keep telling me I'm being ridiculous, we'll all be vaccinated and living it up by then.

I'm hoping for 60 day guests with an extra 20 at night but have done a 30 people list incase.

Even if we wanted to postpone now there's barely any dates left for next year and I can't bear this dragging on any longer than this year so we'll be going ahead whatever the numbers if we can.
