Another wet and windy day tomorrow - with some pretty good gales in the south.

Today is set to bring more disruption due to wind and rain. I think for many in southern areas, especially along the coast today will be more disruptive than yesterday. Nothing too severe though, gusts to 60mph.

It's turned really horrible in South east London! Rain and wind 🍃

It is a bit lively isnt it! Not a lot to add really! Some trees likely to come down and along the south eastern coasts, surface flooding likely.

We could see gusts to 70mph in the south east and central southern areas this evening.

In fact coastal areas around the IOW have already seen this.

We had horrendous gusts here earlier (West Wales) , really peeed off as it blew over a huge filled ceramic pot i'd had for years, smashed to smithereens.. I had trouble standing upright as i rescued milk bottles blowing down the hill, and im not small!

Will be heading your way, hopefully with less momentum..

I'm sat waiting for my husband and the car is shaking but there's a helicopter above!!

I'm on the IOW and it is pretty wild out there. I don't want to take my recycling out to the bins.

I don't want to take my bins out either.

Horrible walk home this evening. Couldn't put umbrella up and ended up taking a long route home because of some huge trees swaying and creaking way more than I was happy with.

South London: much worse than yesterday. Torrential rain and wind is quite frightening. Just had a gust I was worried was going to blow one of my windows out.

Fucking wind weather warning has been extended till 5am.

5am? Oh no, not sleeping much tonight then! It’s at times like this I wish that my bedroom wasn’t right under a catslide roof with a Velux in it. Feels and sounds like I might as well be outside Sad.

My windows are all shut, but the blind is blowing up and down anyway (double glazing not great) and I can feel a breeze in the room.

Blowing a hooley here in Surrey. Bit scared tbh...

Hoping the windows will hold here on a hill in S London.

A couple of roads not far from us were closed last night by fallen trees, and this is worse!

Our letterbox is flapping in the wind and sounds like there's someone knocking at the door.
