We had mad rain on Saturday. Today I've been a wee bit inland from Edinburgh and once the cloud burnt off it was roasting. Driving back home it's still warm and muggy and can see some clouds gathering. Supposed to be in with a chnce of thunder storms

It's been quite nice all day here in Edinburgh, but I know how quickly that can change

The rain on Saturday was horrendous, it's been a long time since I've seen rain that heavy! It was difficult to see even with the wipers on full speed. Not that it stopped some of the idiots drivers on the road .

At one point I had to slow down to about 10/15 mph and on the city roads the drains were actually "gurgling" up, I have never seen that before.

Thank goodness it's missing us, in NE England, this time. It was horrendous on Saturday. Lots of flooded roads. We had to take a detour via the shallowest floods to travel the 5 miles home from Durham.

We had no sun today, but no rain. Not cold but bad air quality.
Was supposed to be sunny from this afternoon till Wed. then Thurs colder. My neighbour 2 hours later said it was to get colder tomorrow.
