any gales in North Wales this weekend?

V specific reason for asking - I can have my dad's car to go visit a friend having chemo if there is no wind & he can happily travel on his motorbike to north Wales instead.

On the BBC site it says 13 (think that is wind speed) but I have realised I have no idea what that means, not being a sailor, motorcyclist or anything else that really requires a consideration of wind speed.
