As title says, DS is 6mth and i do mixture of purrees and offering food in chunks (banana, pear, carrots, parsnips etc). He sucks whole food and swallows some, when i change his nappy some whole chunks are present, Is that ok? Wont harm him in any way, or 'block' him up!! ??

I used to see carrot batons in DD's nappies when she started eating. It was gross and she was fine.

She's 19mo now, and sometimes I still see whole raisins that are fully hydrated!

I think the only thing that is dangerous is dried apricot if it isn't cut up very small. That is because anything dried swells up on its way through IYSWIM. Otherwise - it is normal for some things to go through undigested - sweetcorn comes to mind .

There was stage when DD was a baby when she hated being in her car seat or her pushchair and the only way to keep her happy for any length of time was to give her a little box of raisins.

Her poo was often completely raisins, a lot undigested, a bit like rabbit pellets or deer poo.

Don't panic, he's eating, he's pooing, he's growing, he's fine.

oh and in a day or two when you think he has worms because his poo is full of black stringy bits... that's what semi-digested banana looks like
