DD wont sit in highchair

I have an 11 month DD who hates sitting in her highchair. Ive tried putting the food in front of her so she can pick at it but she just plays with it because she prefers to be spoon fed. I can usually manage a few spoonfuls before she will go on eating strike and want to be put back down onto the floor or to roam about. Once she is out of the highchair she is very cooperative in eating, finishing her entire meal. My DD is crawling and cruising about and she loves her freedom and this extends to mealtimes. I have to chase her around and get into a position thats easy for me to deposit the next spoonful. She will however sit still on hetr play mat to eat. She must have a thing against highchairs, not sure why because I have toys to entertain her. Im glad she is eating well but Im not sure how to get her to eat and enjoy being in her highchair for meals.
Any other mums had a DC like mine?

Will she sit on a booster seat at the table with you? That might feel less constricting to her.

What about a babywalker with a tray? would she sit in that, down at your level? my lo doesn't like his highchair yet but quite happily eats in the walker. I have to block him in with pillows so he doesn't run away though...

She will eat if I put her in her activity station which she can rotate around in. Also she eats if sitting in someone's lap. The funny thing is she used to eat in her highchair when I first started weaning her. Now she's too busy playing or exploring to sit still.
