Weaning

When to do two meals instead of just one?

dd is six months tomorrow, been weaning for two weeks, mostly blw but a bit of mush, and she seems to like everything except potato and cheddar cheese.
But when do we start giving food twice a day? I could probably look this up but thought it might be quicker just to ask you all experienced fabulous mommies

I gave 3 meals quite quickly but they all started very tiny and were just to get ds into the habit of having something at set times. As his appetite grew the portion sizes increased. Why not just offer something whenever you have a meal/snack?

i've started offering whenever we eat at the table as dd won't be put down anywhere but in her bumbo on the table and she gets mighty upset if she sees us eating and she doesn't have anything. but i have no idea what you're 'supposed' to do.

Ds was on 3 meals plus snacks very quickly. Like puppy I went for offering food at our mealtimes.
Your dd will let you know if she wants it or not. In our case ds started fussing and feeding and crying and fussing and feeding in the afternoon (having had breakfast and lunch) so I gave him some food and he cheered right up
