Little Dish meals

Is there any reason you wouldn’t give these to a 9 month old? On the packet they say 1+ but my baby has been on solids since 6 months (not purees) as we’ve been doing BLW.

Can’t think of any reason why they wouldn’t be deemed suitable other than that it’s solid food?

See no reason why not but my 7mo was eating Heinz tinned vegetable soup* yesterday so I might not be the best person to ask!

(A little bit as I was eating it, it's not the mainstay of his diet before anyone chastises me about the salt content!)

Haha don’t worry! No chastising from me!

I gave some to my DS when he was 8mo in an emergency. We did BLW too so he was used to much bigger chunks than were in the meal! Obviously the salt content isn’t as low as homemade but if it helps you out every once in a while, I don’t think it can be so bad.

Oh and the age guidance on food always relates to the stages of weaning with purée so I don’t think they’re applicable with BLW so long as you’re following the no whole nuts/grapes/cherry toms/honey rules.
