Weaning from Breast in the day

Hi everyone, we have successfully night weaned our son and I am now ready to wean the day feeds. I was just after some advice from people that have managed to wean from the breast in the day.

I have started counting down from 10-0 and when we get to zero he knows to unlatch (if he hasn't done so before then). I'm also trying my hardest not keep him distracted in the day so he doesn't keep wanting it. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks :)
