Hi there! Need a little advice with my daughter. I started weaning her at 6months old and it was going great. When she turned 8 months I moved her onto the Ella's Kitchen pouches for 7+ months and she loved them. But she was ill about 2 weeks ago and was sick after eating and now she won't eat any food with texture to it (tried homemade, pouches and jars)!! I've had to go back to 4+ months foods which she eats no problem. What can I do as I don't want to delay her development with eating in any way. X

Try offering finger foods along side pouches.

Has she still got a sore throats or ears? How's her tummy?

She's fine now, back to her usual self and eating the 4+ jars and completely blended home cooked food no problem along with her deserts but as soon as I try to give her blended food that's still got a bit texture or the 7+ pouches/jars it's like she gags and throws her hands in the air to push the spoon out the way. Gave her cucumber and a bit apple but she threw it all on the floor after trying it Hmm

Could you mix the two so you add a little bit of the 7 month food with the 4 month food, then gradually increase the proportions until she's on the 7 month food?

I'd also keep offering the finger food, even if she rejects it Smile
