How much milk does your 7.5 month old have?

Just to give the background, my baby was happily on 5 x 7oz bottles of formula until she turned 6 months old. Then she caught a fever/cold/chest infection and lost her appetite which coincided with starting weaning. It took a while to build it back up but then she somehow managed to get a parasite in her gut which meant that she was popping 8-9 times a day (lovely!) so she started wanting to have 5 x 8oz bottles a day - I assume as literally everything she ate came straight out about an hour later!

She's now back to normal and is much better and much happier but her appetite for milk still seems to be through the roof! She always slept through quite happily but now if she doesn't have at least 37-40oz in total during the day, she wakes up hungry. I'm just a bit worried this is too much....

She is happily eating lots of food, we are predominantly doing BLW so it's difficult to judge how much she's actually swallowing but she's happily joining in with 3 x meals a day.

As an average this is our typical day;

7.45am - 8oz bottle
9.30am - breakfast - either weetabix/ crispy minis or a pot yogurt
11am - 8oz bottle
1pm - lunch - usually a pitta with humous or sandwich of some sort
2pm - 8oz bottle
4.30pm - 5oz bottle
5.30pm - dinner - whatever we are having eg pasta bake, meatballs etc
7pm - 8oz bottle and then bed.

I assumed that she would naturally be cutting back on her milk as she starts eating more but she's downing each bottle every time. I'm just worried that she's never having a chance to feel hungry as we seem to be constantly feeding, either milk or food!

How did you go about reducing milk and increasing solids? Should I be introducing more snacks?

DS was having around 25oz per day at that age, from memory. But he was never a milk monster and it was very rare that he went over 30oz per day when he was on milk alone. So he hadn't really cut back much at all on his milk at that age.

He started wanting less milk around 9 months, which from reading other people's experience, is fairly typical when they cut back themselves. I'm not sure how much they actually digest in the early weeks of weaning (think of the chunks of barely digested food in the nappies!). So it might seem like they're eating lots but maybe not much is actually absorbed.

My 7.5 month old has a similar amount I think. Normally 4-5 bottles in day and 2 at night (sob). We put about 200ml in each time and he normally has most of it, though sometimes only 1/2 - 1/3. He's always been a big milk drinker, and is 91st centile for size. We're doing mostly blw, two meals a day at the moment. It doesn't seem to have reduced his milk intake, but it has changed his pattern and now he drinks more at night! Would often only wake once for a bottle before. Hoping things will change soon!

7mo has about 22-24 oz a day. We're BLW so no idea of food intake but he far prefers food to milk. His only consistent bottles are pm and night feed. I offer in am, mid morning and mid afternoon but he'll often only take a few oz then.
