Weaning

It's like trying to wean a cement mixer!

My 10mo has been doing blw since the start of weaning. At 8 months he started teething and appetite dropped considerably. Now the teeth are out.

He has never been a big eater and always had lots of "cement mixer" type eating where a lot of it drops out. He always puts up a fight to be spoon fed.

But I didn't worry about it previously as he'd only just started weaning.

Now all he does is spit food out, whether it's solids or puree. The only thing he'll eat is bread/crackers.

He's still on formula, although he accepts only small bottles on a regular basis (150ml max every 4/5 hours and 210ml evening bottle). He usually goes through the night tim 5:30am.

I'm worrying whether it's just a phase he'll grow out of or whether there is something "wrong"...

How much formula would you say he had in a day?

Plain bread and crackers? What about bread with hummus, crackers with cream cheese etc

Mine younger but does this sometimes - I find preloaded spoon guided in works well.

Also fruit tends to go down easier than veg or carbs.
