Hi thought it best if I just say what I'm doing just now and see what advice I get regarding cow's milk. My DS is 11 months old, he was EBF for 6 months, then I started daytime formula feeds ( mid-morning and mid afternoon) and BF morning and night. More recently I have reduced my BF to morning only and have introduced an evening FF. So I give him a BF in morning when gets up, he eats breakfast lunch and dinner and has about 600mls Formula through the day. The morning BF is small and I think now is mainly for comfort. I am quite keen to stop BF soon. He has water with meals from a cup but to be honest he's not that great with the cup and water goes everywhere! So my question is he's going to be 12 months soon-how much cow's milk do I give him? What about bottles? I know you're meant to stop using them at 12 months, but I feel he's not going to get enough fluids through the day with cups only. Not until he's better at using cups anyway!
So I suppose I want to know how much cow's milk to give him, bottles/cups or mixture? And do you heat the milk up or give it cold from fridge?
Thanks
