Constipation

I think from what I've heard that it's fairly normal to see a bit of constipation as more solid food is consumed. Can anyone tell me the best foods to get things moving again? It doesn't help that dd is barely having any milk I expect, but she is drinking water with every meal.

Ripe pears. We had this badly and found fruit puree v helpful but pears are really soft so don't nee pureeing, can be cut into fingers. I get ripe conference pears, make sure they're not still crunchy. Also - BM!

If you are bfing try feeding an hour before offering solids? Agree with MacMomo, bf then an hour later give ripe pears and everything should be fine Smile.

have you tried warm prune juice? give it to them whilst you are feeding them the solid food, it helps with their digestion!
