Freezing unused Organix (or similar) ?

Hi - I have just started weaning my 5.5 month DS. Have started with usual pureed carrot and spuds etc. For variety I've bought some of the Organix ambient pots of rice pudding with fruit and the porridge with fruit too. Can I freeze what's left over from these pots? The packaging just says refrigerate and use within 24 hours. Have got a big bag of apples coming from a work mate tomorrow so it will be apple puree all the way, but I just hate wasting the expensive ready made stuff.

I've jsut bought some Ella's Kitchen pouches and they say you can freeze them, so I've used athird of one and frozen the remainder, split over 2 very small tupperware type pots. The Organix jars don't say anything about NOT freezing them which makes me think you probably could (I seem to remember food that could definately can't freeze says so all over it). Maybe I'll email organix directly. I'll let you know when I hear back from them!

I've been wondering exactly the same thing. We have a few of those pots that I don't want to open yet because DD is showing no interest in the food we've been trying to give her so far. I think in 3 wks she might have swallowed 1/2 a teaspoon at most. :(

Oh dear Bagel... have u tried a bit of flavour (carrot etc) mixed with baby rice runny made with usual milk? (Sorry if patronising)

We tried lots of different things, then decided maybe we should stick with one flavour for a while. So she's been offered fruity porridge every day for about 2 weeks.
Also tried finger foods. But she only seems to want to eat breast milk, her hands and toes, or fabric!
I'm sure she'll get the hang of it eventually....
