daft question...hot or cold puree?

when u puree food that u cook urself do u puree it when its hot or when its cooled down? or does it not mater?

Occurred to me this morning, i always puree while its hot then chuck it in ice cubes tray and freeze but is that what ur supposed to do? I didn't do any of my own food for ds1 so clueless loL!

I did that, too, but I don't suppose it matters all that much.

I don't think it really matters (well I hope it doesn't!) I have done both - most of it when hot, but sometimes if cooked lots of carrots for me and dh and have some left over have let them cool whilst we eat dinner and then pureed them.
