Vegan winter clothes

Does anyone have any pointers/tips on vegan alternatives for lovely warm winter clothes - I think I mean primarily coats & knitwear? I’ve had a fairly major kondo of my wardrobe, and don’t really have much stuff left!

Previously I would be buying a smart wool coat for winter. I have a parka from previous years which sadly has a duck down lining but I won’t replace it till it needs replacing. I notice now that Fat Face no longer uses duck down which is great.

I need a smarter coat as well and want to avoid wool! Any ideas or recommendations?

Many hiking shops use synthetic down as it is more effective/dries quicker. A lot of their gear looks fairly smart too. Check it out.

I just spotted this and am a knitter. I am doing a vegan Lent but I am doing it for planet reasons so I'm happy with sheep being reared in areas where nothing much else can be farmed.

Bamboo fibre is warmer/softer than cotton and would be one to look out for in jumpers. I've had something (socks? Jumper via TK Maxx? can't remember) from BAM before.
