I haven't been to that particular one, but have stayed in a number of others. They're generally clean, warm, dry, have functioning plumbing and supply fresh towels and sheets. Family rooms have a double bed and a fold-down sofa. The soap of choice is a squeezy tube of Dove, and if you've forgotten your toothbrush/paste/razor they'll supply at reception.

The company seem to have done a lot of refurbishing lately, so it's likely to have fairly fresh decor. It's unlikely that they'll have their own restaurant but most have a pub next door which will be fairly family-friendly (high chairs available and often an outdoor play area) and serve carvery-type food.

You'll not be in the lap of luxury and there's no room service, but the basic facilities are fine.
