can anyone recommend a romantic London hotel please??

I will be taking DH on his birthday for day out in london with just two of us (no dd) and one night stay in romantic atmosphere hotel. Not stuffy nor too modern. Anybody know of one? We also wanted to have a stroll around Portobello market and if anybody have good ideas, I would appreciate it!!

Try The Rookery in Clerkenwell or Hazlitt's not far from Oxford St (owned by same people). Atmospheric, quiet, comfy lounges with honesty bar. Not cheap but they do deals at times.
