Cottage/Short break

Hi All

My dear friend has just split up with her boyfriend and is feeling very low. We are hoping to go away somewhere lovely for a couple of nights in August with her DS (10) and my DD (will be 4 months). DH could come but doesnt really need to as we are going away as a family in September before I return to work.

Any thoughts? We are in London so somewhere in south east would be good, but just want her to have a lovely time.
