Sorry for the double post.
Forgot to mention that we are ok with hostelling too. It needs to be in a place with plenty to do. The kids are 15, 13, 9 and 6.
Again thanks

I can't, but am glad I'm not the only one to snigger at Sandyballs

A bump on your behalf.

Haven't been to any of these myself, but have a look here Shorefield or Waterside or Herston

park resorts have some lovely sites and are very reasonable

Avoid Burnham on Sea (Haven). Honestly, it was quite dire. (have heard others on here say the same)

Can't speak for other Haven Parks.

Pontins was slightly more bearable - but Blackpool is the only one I have experience of.

Hoseasons parks are usually pretty good and a fair bit cheaper than Pontins/Butlins.

I have been to three Park Resorts and they are clean, very frendly, low key with lots to do for the kids, very similar to haven i think but mayeb a bit less 'worn out'
I think Pontins are a bit grotty from what i have heard but Butlins seem to have upgraded a bit depends how full on you want things

I was looking at the Devon Sands one. Its the biggest and their flagship park so hopefully it will be nicest. Will look at hoseasons too.
