Get together with one baby

Hi me and my uni friends are getting together for a pre-Christmas meet up, with one eleven month old. We are all over the country, mainly Manchester, Yorkshire and London so want to meet somewhere central with a villagey Christmas feel, easy to get to by car and with a pub or restaurant/shops town centre (ie counryish but not the middle of nowhere)

Can anyone recommend a) towns and villages to look at b) accomodation/websites (there is 7 and a baby- sounds like a film!)
