Park Holidays- any advice/recommendations?

We are hoping to book a last minute break (cheapish as finances under strain this year!)beginning second week oct. Have never been on a park holiday so dont really know what to expect! Will opt for a chalet/lodge as Dp have an aversion to caravans lol!!

Found a place called hengar manor in cornwall (where we are looking to go)but the reviews are not great.

What we want is something clean, warm with a few facilies pool cafe/restaurant/ near to beach if poss. Not expecting luxury but must be 'reasonable'.

Any recommendations?
