Eden Project, cheaper after 2?

A relative, who isn't always the most reliable source of information has told me not to book tickets to the Eden Project, that if we turn up after 2pm then entry is half price.

I can't find anything about this online.

Does anyone know if this is true and applies in the school holidays and also, will an afternoon will be enough time?

No eden is never cheaper in the afternoon. Best to book online the day before, you get 10 percent off and can get a yearly return if you check the donation part. School holidays it gets busy from 11:30ish. Remember the domes and Core building on site shut 30mins before the whole site, I am local and can still spend 4-5 hours on site, ps picky eaters might want a picnic.

Thanks so much for that Ravec. The person who told me isn't known for being reliable so I thought it would be best to check Smile

Thanks too for the tips. I'll book online and get there early. Think we'll take a packed lunch I'm looking at you DD

you used to be able to use tesco vouchers for tickets if that's any help

Tesco Clubcard isn’t much help. I’m a Lidl girl Smile

If you can get your hands on a copy of May’s
gardeners world magazine you can get 241 entry to Eden Project (and a load of other gardens).
Also if you are planning to go to the Lost Gardens of Heligan too go after you’ve been to the Eden Project as they’ll give you a 10% off voucher for there too.
