Centre Parcs - online grocery shop for delivery to chalet?

I know - IABU as they have the mini-supermarket onsite.

BUT. We are coming by ferry. I WILL be organizing food to bring in with me, not all from the onsite market.

I know when we went to Sherwood Forest before, we found a Morrisons in some town we drove through.

But I'd kinda prefer a Sainsburys. (Meh, I know I'm picky - it's my holidays and I want to chill, and get naice food).

I know I've found both a Morrisons and Sainsbos in Mansfield, only a few miles away, and both look decent sized stores. But I think that's the opposite side to where we'd be coming in.

If I booked an online shop and delivery, would CP allow a supermarket delivery to our chalet? (I Know the number already).

Or, if I am coming from Manchester, where is the best place for me to stop easily, for a decent sized supermarket (either Morrisons or Sainsbos - DEFINITELY NOT TESCO!!!!!!!) on the way that is not too far out of our way. I think Waitrose may be too far off our route (and I've never been there - at least I know what both Morrisons/Sainsbos are like).

I am basically looking to do a reasonably decent shop on the way. The basics for the week (pasta, rice, sauces etc, biscuits and snacks, fruit and veg, some meat, lots of cheese, antipasti type meats and olives etc), the drinks (wine, gin, beer, soft drinks), and some treats including a couple of easy to make meals (and BBQ stuff if forecast is nice). We normally eat "at home" for 2 of 3 meals a day in CP (usually either lunch or dinner out), and have lots of fruit and nibbles as well.

I know I will go to Morrisons in Holyhead on the way home for a decent shop of supplies and dinner for our return home.

Any advice?

I have never seen online grocery's being delivered at centerparcs i think they expect you to buy in their supermarket or bring it with you.

They don't let delivered vans through the barrier. What about a click and collect?

We've done this at Elveden, but they aren't allowed on site. You nip down with the car to the entrance when they get there. The sainsburys there is very used to it do it all went smoothly.

Do Sainsbury's do the order thing where you collect the prepacked shopping bags from their store and drive it into Centre Parks, like Asds do?

D'oh - I never thought about click and collect! So I can do my order, but not spend a couple of hours faffing around the store (DH's worst nightmare).

HTKB, I'd contemplate collecting at the gate, but if we were delayed anywhere, we might not be there yet, and it also means delaying opening the gin on arrival!

Right, I now have a plan!!
