I seem to be going round in circles looking at holiday accommodation! Any ideas for us? We are family of four with a dog. Kids are 7 and 9. Normally we go camping in France but dog still young so thought we'd stay in UK. We like centre parcs but too ££& in holidays and fancy trying a bit of surfing. Any experience of the Parkdean or Hoe seasons type places? Not normally into large busy places with entertainment but willing to look at anything! Unless anyone has any fab little gems the can recommend? Please help!

the problem might be the dog if you are looking for somewhere to stay in cornwall. a lot of the cottages and the caravan parks ban dogs in school summer holidays because they are just so busy.

also many of them have a minimum age of either 1 yr or 1.5 yrs. how old is your dog?

many of the beaches that you can surf from are dog ban so I would suggest you have a chat with visitcornwall which is the tourist association for cornwall and ask for their dog friendly guide.

if your dog is under a year though no one is going to take him./her I am afraid. good luck.

We stayed at one in peranporth (sp?) that I think was hoeseasons, leycroft valley? It was really nice and had dog friendly lodges, they also had hot tub lodges which was the main reason we went there. It was a nice spot and an easy walk to the town/beach, plus location wise we were pretty much 45 mins to all the popular places.
